Microdermabrasion is a system of intense exfoliation and resurfacing that rejuvenates the skin by using ultra-fine crystals or a diamond-bit encrusted tip. The purpose is to remove the dead and unhealthy outer layer of skin. At the same time, a vacuum tube sweeps up both the skin’s exfoliated cellular debris and the crystals. It is used for skin resurfacing and treating a range of skin abnormalities.

Skin Needling

Skin needling uses multiple needles to pierce the skin creating tiny injuries deep within the skin. These dermal injuries promote the normal skin repair mechanisms and natural reproduction of collagen and elastin. As the punctures are only microscopic, the treatment is minimally invasive with little damage to the epidermis, thus the collagen production is significantly quicker than some other more aggressive treatments.

The new collagen fills depressed scars and wrinkles from the bottom up, lifting the depression so that they are level with the surrounding skin. This helps to visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and can also help thicken thin and crepey skin.
